Founded in 2014 by brother-in-laws Alasdair Malloch and Jimmy McKeown, the distillery was born from a shared vision: to craft a new era of Australian whiskey—one rooted in authenticity, yet driven by innovation.

As Western Australia’s first urban distillery, Whipper Snapper is passionate about using local grains, pioneering sustainable practices, and producing everything on-site—from grain to glass. Their award-winning range of craft whiskies has earned global recognition, including the title of world’s best, and continues to inspire a new generation of whiskey drinkers.

More than a distillery, Whipper Snapper is a community hub featuring a specialty coffee bar, eclectic tasting room, and immersive tours and masterclasses led by a team of passionate whiskey makers.
