Scylla Tepache Liqueur is an Australian-first interpretation of the traditional Mexican fermented pineapple drink - reimagined with depth, warmth and purpose. Crafted from rescued Queensland pineapples sourced from local fruit shops and businesses, this release transforms potential waste into a richly layered, character-driven liqueur.
Bright pineapple sits at the core, balanced by toasted spices, soft vanilla and subtle earthy undertones that make it particularly suited to the cooler months. The result is bold yet refined - equally compelling sipped neat, poured over ice, or stirred into spirit-forward winter cocktails.
True to Scylla’s sustainability mission, every part of the pineapple is used. The flesh is repurposed into pulp and dehydrated into innovative pineapple fibre paper, while the remaining organic material is returned to local community gardens.
Warming, complex and consciously crafted - this is tradition with depth, designed for longer nights and slower sips.
